Weight Loss Through Exercise
Regular exercise is an important part of effective weight loss. Exercise is essential when trying to lose weight because it helps burn the energy of the food you eat. The are many other benefits to performing a daily exercise routine.
Your weight is determined by the number of calories you eat each day minus what your body uses. There is no way to avoid taking in energy or using energy, our life is dependent upon both. When the goal is to shed some pounds you have to limit you caloric intake, while you increase your caloric output. It is possible to eat less and not to have to exercise more, or a person can opt to do both of these things. If a person wants to they don’t have to eat any less, instead they can just increase the amount of exercise they are getting to lose weight.
A lot of people are told they can expect to lose up to two pounds of fat each week with a program of regular aerobic exercise and some do, but a lot of people fail to see anything in the way of meaningful results, even after months of doing six pack ab exercises every day. Many people blame themselves for the lack of success. Is there something physically that is preventing me from losing weight? Are you getting older and burning calories at a slower rate?~Is it because you are not as young as you were and your body is not as efficient?~Has your body changed as you aged not allowing you to reach your goals?} Is it in your genes? You stick to the program, and still you don't lose any weight. It is because conventional aerobic exercise programs are not a particularly effective way to drop the pounds. Aerobic exercise alone is not a very effective way to lose weight and it is definitely not for someone who wants to know how to lose weight fast since an average person only loses about seven pounds over a fifteen week aerobic exercise program. Dieting alone over that time period caused an average weight loss of seventeen pounds. So exercise is not the most effective way to lose weight.
The basis for any fat loss program is to create a calorie deficit. The most common fitness routines are not able to use that much energy. For a typical person they have to use are three thousand calories for each pound of fat. So, assuming your calorie intake remained static and your weight was stable, you'd need to burn an extra 500 calories per day to drop just one pound of fat over the course of a week. Most people wouldn’t be satisfied to lose one pound a week, so they have to at least double the work to lose a reasonable amount. And the type of workout that burns 1000 calories, in terms of both time and effort, is not a realistic goal for most people.
Working out too drop the extra pounds is something that a person needs to devote all of their time and energy to. They cannot rely on a basic thirty minute cardio class three times a week. There are workouts that can produce the results that a person wants with exercise alone, but they require a tremendous effort by the individual. If this is what a person wants than they need to find a support structure such as the ones that can be found on the biggest loser forum in order to stay motivated. A better plan is to include a sensible exercise plan that includes resistance and cardio training, with a proper diet.
There is nothing wrong with maintaining a fitness regimen. Making the heart work a little more every now and then can make it stronger. Joining a gym to get this type of exercise can provide a new social outlet that helps improve a person’s mental health. A fitness regimen is not the only thing that should be done if you need to lose weight. For a person to lose weight and to get fit and healthy they need to take care of the whole body through diet and exercise.
